SER1500 – Super edge rounder finishing machine

Discover the innovatively developed SER1500 Multibrush finishing machine, designed with 4 processing stations and 17 controllable motors. The entire finishing machine can be operated via the HMI touchscreen, which is very intuitively designed and ensures effortless operation. With the touchscreen, it is easy to choose different finishing programs, which leads to high reproducibility of the quality of the products and prevents setup errors by the operator. Thanks to the automatic height adjustment at the processing stations, consistency and precision are always guaranteed.

In the first station of the finishing machine, burrs and imperfections are removed with a grinding belt, resulting in a flat, burr-free surface. After grinding, four oscillating disc brushes follow that exert light pressure on the product, ensuring a rounding on both inner and outer contours. As a final operation, the Multibrush round brushes ensure your product is perfectly finished. The six brushes provide a non-directional finish and round the edges with a radius of 2+ mm, giving the product a high-quality and durable appearance.

The SER finishing machine utilizes a unique brush combination, in which Q-Fin is the only one in the market to offer this combination, which we call: ‘’The Ultimate Qombination’’. A radius of 2+ mm is possible through a single pass.

The SER1500 Multibrush finishing machine is also available in an XL version, where an additional fifth station is added to the machine. The fifth station consists of a second grinding unit. With this, it is possible to apply a line finish on your product with a finer grinding belt or Scotch-Brite belt.
